In September 2024, De Silva Foundation, in collaboration with Help Lesotho, contributed to the distribution of 124 solar lights to students at Majara and Sefapanong Primary Schools in Thaba Tseka District, Lesotho. This initiative, which included the Foundation’s funding of eight solar lights, aims to improve students’ study conditions by providing reliable, eco-friendly lighting in areas with limited electricity. The impact is already being felt, with teachers, parents, and students expressing gratitude for this vital support in enhancing education.
