For the first time in their lives they sleep in their own bed, have enough to eat, an education, medical care.

Sponsor Rakshini's education in Sri Lanka
Rakshini and her siblings lost their father’s love and care during their most needed period...
We visited Sri-Ram school in August 2022 that we sponsor, they made an incredible welcoming party. It was really wonderful and humbling to meet the children, parents, teachers, headmaster and society members who were so grateful for our support. Their school has just one room, no desks or chairs yet, no teachers desk or cupboard for books, we will provide this... It was really humbling and beautiful that we are able to help them.
We have our challenges but many times I compare my challenges to the challenges that many of the poor face on a daily basics.
“I am so grateful for clean water. To go to my kitchen tap and take a clean glass and fill it with water. To have a food in my refrigerator, to actually have a refrigerator. To have a roof over my head and a good bed.”

Thisari, is a 14 year old orphan at Balika Maha Vidyalaya,
She wants to become a doctor or a female Navy Officer.
Thisari has had lots of difficulties in her life. She doesn’t have parents. Her grandmother is Chandralatha, is 62 years old lady. She is the one who adopted Thisari from her father when she was just 1 ½ years old. She is a daily wager and earns 15,400 LKR for per month, this is equivalent of £40 per month. But that is not enough to cover Thisari's educational and costs of living expenses. We are sponsoring her schooling and education, with encouragement to achieve her goals and ambitions.
