Today, we want to share the story of Pascal, a young boy living in a one-room house made of wood and dry straw with his parents and four siblings. Despite the challenging conditions, Pascal and one of his siblings are fortunate enough to attend school. Pascal shares, “Going to school is a good thing because I become wise. I really like learning new things. I think school will help me get a job. I hope that after school, I will be able to work as a doctor.”
To support Pascal’s educational journey, the De Silva Foundation will sponsor his meals at school, ensuring he doesn’t go hungry. We firmly believe that a hungry child cannot learn, and we are committed to helping Pascal and other children achieve their dreams.
